Malvern Civic Society's Schools' Literary Competition 2019

Huge congratulations to Y7 student Keira White who has won not only the Secondary School Category of the Malvern Civic Society's Literary Competition 2019, but also was the overall winner of the whole competition.

Keira wrote a piece about how a Spanish song had inspired her to learn Spanish and evoked memories of her holidays.

This is a photograph of Keira receiving her prize at Malvern Theatres on Saturday.  The cup that will be retained in school for a year is being presented by the Chairman of Malvern Hills District Council, Dean Clarke. Jennifer Chuck, organiser of the Secondary School competition is in the background.
