Y11 Coding with Confused.com

Last week was national coding week and we were delighted to be invited to join a coding workshop run by Confused.com.

This took Y11 Computer Science students through experiences of industry programming.  They were then set the challenge of building a calculator in C#, a programming language they have never used before.

Students gained a great deal from the experience both in using a new programming language as well as having the chance to ask a graduate developer questions about career paths.

Thanks to Mr Roche for organising this opportunity.
