On Friday 21st June we went on trip to Malvern Panalytical where we discovered the jobs available to women in engineering . Malvern Panalytical is a science company that measures the sizes of particles for different uses such as pharmacy and chocolate and has many other uses. We were able to learn so much about the different fields available and how women are so underrepresented in these. They introduced us to different jobs that we hadn’t thought of before. Due to the new technology that is becoming available we found out first-hand the growth that these jobs will have in the next few years and how much this will make available to us in the future. We learnt so much and had so much fun as the trip was filled with science based activities as well as a tour around the advanced centre. The trip opened so many doors that we didn’t know about before and we were lucky to be a part of it.
