Subject overview:
Design and technology is an inspiring, rigorous and practical area of the curriculum provided through three subject areas; Food Preparation and Nutrition, Product Design and Textiles. Using creativity and imagination, the two year KS3 course is taught on a rotational basis enabling pupils to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values.
